Founder of Sanjeevani

Recently, awarded with UP Ratna Award for agriculture Shri Udit Narayan Shukla is involved in promotion of organic farming, health & nutrition, FPOs cluster formation and for better livelihood of farmers. Our founder has 29 years of field experience and working for social upliftment by accelerating development of subaltern/deprived section especially, tribals, farmers, labourers, divyang (disables), rural women and children. 31 years ago, this 19 year old teenage was influenced by Nanaji Deshmukh and learnt values and lessons from him under his guidance for years. Since then, he is actively working for welfare of people with full determination and achieving milestones one by another.

Sanjeevani is a  voluntary organization registered under Indian Charitable Trust Act -1882 wide registration number 238/2014-15  at Prayagraj (U.P.). Sanjeevani working with and for Farmers, Agri-labours, Artisans and Entrepreneurs for their holistic development. The geographical coverage of organization is district Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Sonebhadra, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur ,Mirzapur of Uttar Pradesh, Rewa, Satna and Tikamgarh of Madhya Pradesh and Jaspur of Chattishgarh in India. Sanjeevani is national organization, it has 16 members in managing committee and 21 members in general committee. 

Sanjeevani is empanelled with Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, National Council for Science & Technology Communication, Dept of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, for Science and Technology awareness among the people living in villages/Towns of the Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot districts of Uttar Pradesh. Trust is registered with NGO Darpan portal of NITI Aayog and Sections 80-G , 12A certified under Income Tax Act.

Sanjeevani is providing free shelter and healthy living enviroment with all basic needs to senior citizeens in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Projects By Sanjeevani

  1. Sanjeevani has organised Ganga cleanliness and water conservation awareness program through Nukkad Natak in Kumbh Mela. WWF India has supported/assisted for the this program. About 5000 peoples watched these shows and visited exhibition on clean Ganga and culture.

  2. Sanjeevani Organizes International Yoga every year on 21 june.

  3. Sanjeevani has Organized Health checkup camp for Senior Citizens in Kaushambi District. 1050 peoples been checked up and treated by specialist doctors.

  4. An awareness camp for Road safety on respective week where youths were given orientations about safe driving, safety rules and measure.

  5. Sanjeevani has also organized Eye Testing Camp in Kaushambi and 110 Peoples got medical care and medicines.

  6. Science fair & exhibition is being organized in schools of Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot and Sonebhadra district of U.P.

  7. Herbal Garden under our initiative named "Grih Vatika Abhiyan" in 20 wards of Prayagraj district to train and provide resources to beneficiaries for establishing herbal gardens in their lawn or on terrace. 

  8. Sanjeevani is currently Working on FPO and Farmers Club and Agriculture Promotion.

  9. Sanjeevani has established an oldage home for providing shelter and healthy lifestyle to senior citizens in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

  10. Sanjeevani has installed a sanitary pad manufacturing unit in Prayagraj district and is providing mestrual health care along with distribution of free sanitary pads to 6000 rural/tribal womens. Sanjeevani is supported by Rastriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited, Govt. of India for this purpose..
